Set up Dialpad
An admin connects it once for the workspace. The full walkthrough is in the documentation.
- Sign in to NitroDialer with your Dialpad account. The first person in becomes the workspace admin
- An admin registers the call-event webhook once from Settings
- Each agent signs in to the Dialpad panel on the dialing screen
- Join a campaign and start dialing
Dialpad questions
Which Dialpad plans work?
NitroDialer uses Dialpad's public API to place calls from each agent's own Dialpad app. Confirm API access on your plan with Dialpad; NitroDialer doesn't need Sell Premium or a Dialer-enabled contact centre.
Do agents need the desktop app?
Agents dial from the Dialpad softphone embedded in NitroDialer, in Chrome or Edge. Dialpad's mobile apps and desk phones can't be used for API-placed calls.
Do recordings and AI summaries still work?
Yes. They stay in Dialpad, and NitroDialer links the recording and adds the AI summary to the CRM note.
